We specialise in creating nature inspired landscapes using flowing water as the main focal point. Our waterscapes are one of a kind and can be designed to enhance to any size property. Using biological water filtration processes, resulting in well balanced ecologies that mimic the crystal clear natural pools, billabongs, waterfalls and streams usually only found in untouched wilderness. Creating an ecosystem in your backyard is our passion.

Darren has loved to be outside as long as he can remember. He has infected his family with his love of the outdoors and takes them on adventures into the wilderness as often as he can. This is where he finds the inspiration for his waterscape creations. He landed his first landscaping job at 17 and has been creating art in backyards ever since... (hint, 25+ years!!). He has also completed a Permaculture Design course and is a great advocate for living a life more in sync with our environment. Ellie his wife works behind the scenes, and their two teenage children lend a hand when they are not busy with sport or school. Liam and Rick are Darren's younger brothers who also provide their muscle (and expertise) on the bigger projects.

Anyone looking to have a landscaped garden and water feature installed to uplift their home, we would highly recommend Clearwater Billabongs. After six years of deliberation, my husband and I decided to get the water feature we always wanted to run under the walkway entrance to our home. Clearwater Billabongs came recommended by another contractor sent out to look at the proposed project by our nursery. Darren was very quick in responding to our query and provided very personalized service. He was present every step of the way, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Darren and his team have created the most beautiful relaxing space in our backyard. They have been amazing to deal with making the whole process so easy from start to finish and even after the job was completed no question has been too much, always helping with a quick reply and detailed answers as we learn about our new system. Darren cleverly designed the waterfall and pond to fit into the perfect spot in our yard making sure we’d get maximum enjoyment out of it - it’s now become our family gathering space. We couldn’t love it any more and highly recommend these guys.

Clearwater Billabongs created the perfect water feature for the entrance of my Pilates Studio. Darren is so creative, giving me several options to choose that fit my budget. At his suggestion, we decided on a pondless waterfall for safety, as the space is accessible to small kids. I am totally in love with the mini waterfall they built, it really brings a feeling of tranquillity, exactly what I wanted. He was accommodating to work outside of my studio hours, causing no disruption to my sessions at all, plus the area was so neat and tidy when they left. The whole process was very easy and I'm thrilled with every aspect.
